New Kitten, Jim Gaffigan, and Marathon Training

on

Hey y’all!! I hope that you all had a fantastic weekend! I’m super positive this week and have some fun news to share.

First, check out my new kitten!!! She is so stinking cute and little. I have wanted a tortoiseshell cat most of my life because I absolutely love their coloring. The black, white, and orange mix always reminds me of Halloween, which is tied with Christmas as my favorite holiday, and you all know how much I LOVE Fall.

Everyone say hello to Hallow!! ❤️Last week I tried out some new recipes. On Tuesday, I made the family roasted veggies, baked red snapper, and cooked shrimp. This meal was a huge hit and I will definitely be making it again. I found this recipe on one of my favorite blogger’s website, http://simplytaralynn.com.
Last Thursday, I went to see “Pets” with my family, which was super cute, and then we ate some sushi for dinner. I always order the Shaggy Dog Roll or California Roll.

On Saturday evening, my brother, sister, and I took my Dad to see Jim Gaffigan in the Woodlands. On the way there we saw the sun shining down so beautifully. I love moments like that.

Before we laughed as much as we possibly could, we had some delicious dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. I ordered myself a glass of  Ruffino Chianti, along with the Chicken di Pana.

After our very filling dinner, we walked to the pavilion.

I thought that this little wine glass was so cute! Also, please ignore my nails.. I need a manicure.

Jim Gaffigan was hilarious to watch. I always laugh when I see him on TV, but to see him live was really cool. He joked about the Houston heat a lot, which I found really funny especially since it was so hot on Saturday night.

Sunday night, I took my siblings to go see the new Tarzan movie with a couple of our friends. This movie was incredible. I love how the story takes place when Tarzan is an adult and married to Jane, and that there was a historic content added along with some fantastic action scenes and impeccable acting. Christoph Waltz played the villian in this movie, he always plays the best villian.  After watching Alexander Skarsgård swing on vines and fight gorillas, I decided that he and I should definitely get married, so I will let you all know when he pops the question. Lol!Yesterday, my brother and I began our training for our marathon. Our marathon is going to be in January, so we have 26 weeks until race day (I’m so excited)! Our cousin, Taylor, is also joining us and she started training yesterday as well. We decided that we are going to train on the treadmill until it starts to cool down outside. 95-110 degrees is way too hot and I would rather not have a heat stroke while training. Our gym has a movie room filled with cardio machines, which makes running on a treadmill much more enjoyable. We watched part of “The Haunted Mansion” while we ran 2 miles.

Monday night is bachelorette night, so my mom cooked some yummy food, we had some wine, and we watched JoJo go on some awesome dates. I was so sad to see James Taylor go home. He lives about 40 minutes away from me, so us girls thought it would be funny to send him messages. I will let you know if he responds. 😉Lemon basil chicken, zucchini noodles, and cauliflower potatoes. Such a fun way to eat your veggies!

I hope that you all have a terrific week!! I’ll be back soon.

XOXO, Paige.
